# Polis Points

How Polis Points, the loyalty points on Venzo, record eligible participation in City Protocol products.

Polis Points are loyalty points that record eligible participation in City Protocol products through Venzo. They have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred or exchanged for cash, and carry no entitlement or promise to receive $CIT or any other asset.

Season 1 ran from 21 July to 31 August 2026, and Season 2 runs from 3 September to 30 October 2026.

## How to take part

### Choose an eligible product

Open [Venzo](https://app.venzofinance.com) and subscribe to an eligible Curated Vault or OTP. Points begin only after City Protocol publishes the eligible contract and its activation time.

### Keep the position eligible

Hold the position to earn Polis Points each day. Larger positions, earlier deposits and longer holding periods earn higher multipliers.

### Track your points

Check the campaign dashboard on Venzo for your balance, multipliers and point history. Exact UTC cutoffs, activation times and eligibility status appear there.

The Eligible Strategies tab of the campaign dashboard lists every product that earns points, with what a participant holds in it, its network, its points multiplier and a link to its product page. Every tab of the dashboard is shown in Venzo.

Participants earn points only on products available in their jurisdiction. Residents of the Republic of Korea earn points only for their own eligible positions: referral and promotional quest points are not available to them.

## How points are calculated

The base rate is 1 Polis Point per US$1 of eligible value per day at 1x. Each day's Vault Factors multiply the eligible value by five multipliers, and referral and quest points are added on top.

Yield and Polis Points are calculated separately, so a strategy's yield does not change its points multiplier.

The Formula tab of the campaign dashboard shows each factor with its range, what sets it and its value in a worked example, calculated daily from a 12:00 UTC snapshot of the balance in each vault.

Points are subject to anti-sybil review, IP-address review and sanctions screening, and participation is restricted in Russia (including Crimea), Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria and other sanctioned countries.

Polis Points have no cash value and carry no entitlement or promise to receive $CIT or any other asset. The referral component is single-layer, and self-referrals, circular referrals and multi-level referral rewards do not qualify.
