# Example Use Cases

#### ETP-style products

A product issuer can launch a tokenized product that tracks a defined basket, theme, or strategy, with rules for creation, redemption, NAV, component eligibility, fee accrual, and rebalancing.

This can support products such as an RWA income basket, a tokenized treasury blend, a stable-yield index, a market-neutral strategy product, or a thematic allocation product. The term ETP-style is used here as a product-design analogy, not a claim that every product is a regulated exchange-traded product.

#### Index and thematic baskets

A research team, asset manager, or partner platform can define a rules-based basket around a theme such as RWA yield, stable-yield strategies, AI infrastructure, tokenized credit, or market-neutral crypto strategies.

The layer handles component inclusion criteria, weighting method, rebalance cadence, concentration limits, product-level NAV, methodology versioning, and reporting.

#### Multi-vault portfolios

A curator can combine several VaaS vaults into one product wrapper. The participant sees one product, while the underlying exposure is allocated across multiple verified vaults.

This is useful for income products, risk-tiered products, diversified RWA strategies, or partner portfolios that need one subscription and redemption flow across several vaults.

#### Model portfolios for wallets, exchanges, and fintech apps

A partner can embed predefined allocations through NaaS without becoming an asset manager or rebuilding issuance infrastructure.

For example, a wallet could offer a conservative stable-yield portfolio, an exchange could offer an active trader cash-management product, or a fintech app could offer a curated onchain income allocation. City Protocol handles product records, eligibility, NAV, subscription, redemption, and reporting behind the interface.

#### Copy-allocation and manager strategy products

A vetted manager, quant team, or signal provider can publish a strategy that participants access through a controlled product wrapper.

The manager can rebalance only inside approved assets, venues, limits, drawdown rules, and reporting requirements. Participants receive product-level visibility rather than needing to mirror every trade manually.

#### Tenor-based structured yield products

An issuer can create a product with a defined term, settlement schedule, base yield component, optional overlay, maturity process, and early redemption rules.

This format can support fixed-tenor income products, principal-weighted yield products, or other structured yield products where the final terms depend on legal structure, eligible participants, and risk disclosure.
